Sunrise on Thursday the 27th. With another time change, the sun is now rising at 5:40 AM.
After leaving Madagascar we sailed south-east down and across the Madagascar Channel. This channel is about 1000 miles long and varies in width from 250-600 miles wide.
Our destination is Maputo, Mozambique which is at the southern tip of the country, about 250 miles past the end of the channel.
It has been a relaxing three sea days with lectures, entertainment, napping and food. I also spent a lot of time working on the blog posting for Madagascar, I took almost 600 photos which had to be edited before selecting which ones could be used to try and tell the story of our day in Nosy Be.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, tomorrow begins five port days in a row, followed by one sea day and then another two port days. It is going to be difficult to make timely posts with this schedule. At least I hope to get photos posted, even if not with much commentary.
