Day 96 & 97 - April 9 & 10, 2025 - Wednesday & Thursday - South Atlantic Ocean

There is not a lot to report.  We have had two pleasant days at sea.  The weather has been nice with the temperatures rising from the 60's into the high 70's as we move farther up the west Africa coast toward the equator.  

Thursday's sunrise was similar to Wednesdays with clouds but no fog.  My early morning walk on deck 8 was very pleasant with little wind.


Perhaps due to the mild wind, this little guy hitched a ride from Namibia.  I found him during my morning walk.  
 He is a Variable Eggfly butterfly, one of several types found in Namibia.

While looking thru my phone camera photos, I found this unintentional selfie.  This was taken while on Table Mountain.  As you can see, it was a little windy.


We arrive in Luanda, Angola tomorrow.  We don't have anything planned other than the brief 2 hour included tour.  Luanda is a large (10 million population) city and not one you are inclined to explore on your own.
